What I really like about this particular fuck face book entry, as opposed to the many many fuck face book entries online, is that you just posted the facts. Apparently they didn't even tell you there was a problem. You sent them an email, and their response, from "Shawn" is that they have made this "final decision" that can not be reversed for any reason, based on information that did NOT include any input whatsoever from you.
I like that you just showed the facts. You completely win the case for the public on every level.
The commenters are right. Shawn is a liar. There are tons of profiles on facebook by authors, actors, musicians, DJ's, that use a stage name. Shawn saying your account is "fake" is totally bogus.

I just did a search for "fuck facebook" because something similar happened to me there. It was so arbitrary. It was like I wasn't dealing with professionals, instead I was dealing with some 6th grade bullies unable to think or listen. I can not even believe how many people have experienced something similar from them. Those assholes don't care that they lose quality personalities such as yourself, since they can fill their pages with stupid idiots.

You aren't missing out on anything Veronica. Facebook's ridiculous note to you is pretty much reflective of the type of people that run the site and the type of inane policies they have. I had an issue on fb uploading my own videos. Fb kept removing them and warning me it was copyright infrigement. I wrote and explained it's my copyright, and basically got the same response you did.
My wife is an artist and had posted a pic of herself at a gallery. A Rembrandt is in the background of the pic, showing a nude image. Fb removed it and sent her a warning for posting pornography. Fb actually thinks a Rembrandt hanging in a museum, in the background of a photo, constitutes pornography. Their note said someone reported it, and they investigated and saw for themselves that the accusation was true.
Ridiculous, that's all I can say. Unprofessional, laughable, and ridiculous.
